Just got a new iBook (what a great little guy), but I'm gonna outgrow it's 10gig HD pretty quickly. I figure I can either buy an external firewire drive or, for added fun, drop an IDE controller in my old PCC-PC and find a cheap IDE HD or two, set up a little network (which I'll do anyway when we get Broadband this month, hurrah). Biggest consideration: price.

Any thoughts, comments on some cheap storage solutions? Any such thing as a cheap SCSI drive? I have an old 7100 I'd be just as happy to use. Just trying to discover the right combo.

The Sonnet Tempo works great for me. You can connect hard drives or CDs to it.
