I swapped the 128GB SSD in my 12" PB G4 over to my 12" iBook G3. To do this, I used Carbon Copy Cloner on a 15" C2D MBP running El Capitan, cloning the iBook's original hard drive onto the PowerBook's installed SSD, both laptops in target disk mode.
Since doing this, it seems OS 9.2.2 (Apple's OEM image for this specific model iBook G3) has been a lot less stable. It completely crashes on the regular now, at least once in using the machine for two or three hours.
Should I just do a reinstall of the OS or a clean install of the OS, or is it possible it's a problem with OS 9's interactions with the SSD? This SSD has worked fine for a few years in my PB G4, but that's only running Leopard.
