I've made the switch from SoundJam to iTunes, but alas my MP3 icons haven't come along with me. When I double-click them, SoundJam still launches.
Anybody know how to batch convert these files so that iTunes will open when double-clicked?

You nead to change the type/creator codes to MPEG/hook.
I used a sharewhare App called "Type Switcher Pro"to do mine, use version tracker to find it.

I posted this same query a couple of weeks ago and got good feedback. Of the six or so programs I downloaded that change program associations, I found that File Buddy is the easiest. I located it going to www.versiontracker and searching for "File Buddy."

for editing mp3 tages, etc... you cant beat mp3 rage.
this app rules, and does alot... just select change file attributes, drag on a folder, and select itoons from the list... in a few seconds, it will do all the files =)
get it here: http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=3019
