B&W 450 w/ 512MB RAM. OS 9.1. Apps running Outlook Express, dnet OGR client (Priority #1), Snak, iCab and IE 5.1
iTunes isn't buffering enough data to keep from being interrupted when the disk is accessed by another prog. Or maybe it needs it's priority increased..don't know..
I can't find any adjustment for increasing buffer size or cpu priority.
Any suggestions?

Turn off Virtual Memory and see if that helps.

You may also want to allocate additional memory to iTunes.
