Hi all,
I have an old 6100/66 which a friend gave me. I'm new to the mac having just arrived from the PC. How do I go about making myself a bootable system 7.5 disk from the files on apple's website? The computer has a load of old apps installed & I'd rather start again.
I also have a new powerbook with a cd burner which might help. Are there any websites that might help?
Thanks already,
-mrwalker

There are old systems here for download that would probably do the trick.

Thanks everyone - I have MacOS 7 & the updates to 7.5.5 from the apple website. I was wondering if anyone knew how to burn them to a bootable CD. I new to the mac, aside from this one I'm waiting on delivery of a ti 667 DVI, which I could use to do the burning.

The cd creation software should have instructions on how to make a bootable CD, depends on the software. I know Toast does.
