Hi,
I have a G4 450 MHz running OS 9.2.2. Most of the time the only applications I run are Photoshop 7.0 and iTunes 2.0.4. These days though the computer will slow down after running for a short length of time. It will work slowly accross the board, and typing stuff in even goes all slowly. Anyone else run into this problem with Photoshop 7 on Classic? If so, does anyone have any fixes?

Hi Owlicks,
How much memory do you have? have you installed anything lately that might be using system resources in the background? Have you ever optimized and defragmented your hard drive (sometimes this can be a huge cause of slowdown), also, have you run any disk utilities that might help optimize your directories? also, if you have a lot of memory, make sure virtual memory is off as it conflicts with Photoshop's method of paging memory.
good luck and let us know if you are able to correct this problem.
