I have two users: Myself that is a Standard user, and 'Admin' that's an Administrator. During my update from 10.5 to 10.5.1 'Admin' somehow changed to a Standard user so I'm left without an Administrator user.

I tried booting with the OS X disk but there's nothing to change a user from Standard to Administrator.

Is there some way I change the 'Admin' user back to administrator when all I have is standard users? While in the boot disk I set the root password, if that helps.

Found my solution. Apparently it's a known issue in 10.5 upgrade

Mac OS X 10.5: Administrator user changes to standard
