I have an accounting package where I need to print a report to a file. The file must be the ASCII text file equivalent of what prints on the printer. Printing to a file using the LaserWriter chooser extension will NOT work because it produces postscript. I have searched VersionTracker but to no avail. Anyone have an idea where to find software to do this?

Did you try Adobe Acrobat? It'll dish out a PDF'd file, but you can then just copy and paste the text out of Acrobat while keeping the formatting.
