Hi. i just was wondering what you can do with the file sharing capabilities of OS 9. I turned on web sharing and i was asked if i wanted to turn on file sharing. can you use this to create access to others over the net?
You'll be able to share your files with other Macintosh users with File Sharing. With Web sharing almost everybody can access files.
Here's a hint that could possibly save you hours of frustration. Open the TCP/IP control panel and take a peek at your IP address. Now go to www.whatismyip.com and see if they match. If not, report back and we'll get you setup for Internet sharing.
