Its still extremely buggy. Plugins don't work and don't expect to be able to import MS Word files. Just wait. Ranger Rick is working on it.

They have native widgets and stuff working now too, so wont have the motif theme in macgorrillas screeny! Whey!

EDIT: ok well they do in some of their screenies, dunno about the downloadable binaries.

Wont happen for some time, if ever. It took a lot of work to get these working on Panther.

I finally got it all installed and it works reasonably well. By that I mean that it doesn't crash, but it lags a lot especially when the hand cursor comes up.

I think I may want to reclaim the 1 Gig of space this little experiment devoured.

You can use WebDAV to download the pkgs. Command-K then http://kde.darwin.org.

Mounts on your desktop and double click to install.

There is also a torrent for it too on the same web page.

Plugins still don't work though its much faster and more stable than it has been, Printing is next to fix.

How come my installation has silver grey backgrounds whereas everyone else has Aqua pinstripes behind their toolbars?

read the readme

basically there is a config file where you need to set the look to aqua. cant remember where.
