Hi there ...
How can i make the small white space with the text under icon dissappear?
That white space is really quite annoying ... is it possible to make it appear like it does in OS X?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards from,

Nope.
There may be a system hack floating around somewhere to do that, and I think I might've seen it - I'll have a look.
Otherwise, you're out of luck, AFAIK. Sorry.
