I have an old SuperMac C600(
http://www.everymac.com/systems/umax..._c600_200.html )that I resurrected from the dead and saved from termination.
It had a bad nic, hard drive and CDROM. I managed to cannibalize some parts out of another old Mac that was also on it's way to the dumpster and the 2 machines are working perfectly now.
I have the SuperMac connected to my home network and would like to use this machine simply for web-browsing, email and Freehand use.
Right now it has 64 MB RAM and I would like to max it's RAM out to 144MB. My question is this: can I use standard PC memory in this machine? Can I take (1) 128 MB 70ns 168 pin DIMM module or (2) 64 MB modules and swap out the memory that's in it now?
I'm willing to dump a few bucks into this machine to keep it running until I have enough for a new iBook or Power Book so if I can get some RAM for it, I will.
Also, were can I find a pdf manual for this machine? Is Umax still around?
